  First let me say the food is good. I have to give a 1 star rating due to one thing.....service. We walked in to have the food bar only to be told it was being closed in two minutes. The bar was literally FULL of food when we asked.
  
  We ordered from the menu and then received our food and finished eating. Guess what? Bar was still FULL of food when we left!
  
  Businesses have to provide quality goods/food and quality service at a fair price to be successful. Don't disappoint the customers if you can help it. In this case , you failed by not giving the customer what they wanted when it was within your means to do so.
  
  I would suggeat in the future that you tell the customer the bar is not being replenished and offer a discount if necessary to get rid of it. I can only hope it didn't go to waste....probably enough for 40 people!
  
  Just my opinion, I offer it in all honesty.

  This place is pretty alright, probably better if you're actually a local... Was hoping the hotbar would be better than it actually was. For some reason I expected it to have pulled pork, being a barbecue restaurant and all. I suppose that it did have some form of pulled pork though, however - it was certainly not the same variety that you would get if you ordered a platter. The mashed potatoes are quite clearly the powdered variety... and given the price, I could have easily gone to any other buffet restaurant, gotten better quality food, likely for a lower price. But good luck with that in China Grove.
